Four way branching

It's not only the the color and shape of the bloom that is important to many gardeners but how many blooms each scape has. Many beautiful flowers have only six or less blooms. This daylily has four way branching with six or more buds on each branch which ends giving one a longer blooming period. This seedling has a nice shape, with ruffled edges ,light mid ribs . The scape's also are sturdy and stand well above a lot of other daylilies. I would not have guessed that so many seedling I started would turn out so nice. So long for now happy gardening. P.S. don't forget to double click the pictures for a close up to really see the detail.

  1. Steve I love the four way branching day lillies. The color is so beautiful..do grow from seeds or bulbs? I have problems with bulb plants cause squirrels and rabbits eat the bulbs. Do you sell the seeds/bulbs? These are so pretty. How long thru the summer do they bloom? How much sun do they need?
